A comprehensive guide to managing and tracking your revenue share on blogs.
As a guest author, you have the opportunity to earn a share of advertising revenue from the blogs you contribute to. This revenue is settled automatically on the 15th of each month. You can track your earnings, view active revenue shares, and see past settlements through your dashboard.
To view your earnings, navigate to the 'Guest Earnings' section in your dashboard. Here, you will find a summary of your current balance, lifetime settled earnings, and pending settlements. The dashboard provides a clear overview of your financial status as a guest author.
Your dashboard lists all settlements, categorized by status: 'Pending', 'Processing', and 'Paid'. You can filter these settlements using the buttons provided. Each settlement shows the blog name, settlement period, total amount, and status. Clicking on a settlement will provide more detailed information.
Revenue is calculated based on the number of views your articles receive relative to the total views on the blog. The percentage share you have determines your portion of the revenue. Payouts are attempted when your accumulated earnings reach a minimum threshold of $1.00. If a payout attempt fails, the amount remains in your balance and will be retried in the next cycle.
If a payout fails, you will receive a notification, and the amount will remain in your balance. The system will automatically retry the payout in the next cycle. Ensure that your KYC status is verified and your payment details are correct to facilitate successful payouts.
Now that you understand your earnings as a guest author, explore other features of your dashboard to maximize your contributions and earnings potential.
